Broadband for 28,000 households and companies

It is essential to have a strong and developed broadband network in a modern society. Our broadband and telecommunication solutions will create better living and working conditions in the entire region, both in rural and in urban areas.

The broadband network that we own and that we are currently expanding is the Skellefteå regional broadband network, Skekraft.net, which means that we supply broadband to around 28,000 households and companies. The network is a high performance network based on optofiber. It is also an open network, meaning that different service providers can offer their services within the network.

We are members of the Swedish Urban Network Association

Skellefteå Kraft is a member of the Swedish Urban Network Association (SSNF).
SSNF is an independent trade association and interest group for urban network owners with open and neutral telecommunication networks, as well as for operators, service suppliers and other actors within the broadband sector.
